Dear Catholic Musicians and Singer-Songwriters,

A warm fraternal greeting to all of you.

In a meeting with Vatican partners and Catholic Music Awards coordinators, we carefully evaluated the organization of the Second Edition of the Catholic Music Awards 2027, originally planned for June 24–27, 2027.

We have considered:

1. Four weeks later, the World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, from July 25 to August 1, many singers and participants will be arriving to be welcomed by the various dioceses of South Korea for missionary activities,
2. Then everyone is moving to the city of Seoul to celebrate the World Youth Day that will take place from August 3–8, 2027, to have activities and catechetical meetings with Priets, Bishops, Cardinals and Pope Leo XIV, as well concerts, etc.
3. Additionally, we are all affected by the current global economic situation and not every singer, people, Priests, Bishops and Cardinals who can attend one event will necessarily be able to attend the next.

Considering all of this and knowing that many of you will be participating in concerts in the  WYD Seoul 2027, several have asked us to consider postponing the Second Edition of the Catholic Music Awards.

For the Catholic Music Awards is very important to have the participation of all you, as much as is possible, this reason, we have decided to postpone the Second Edition of the Catholic Music Awards for June 2028 from Wednesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 2

Through the official Catholic Music Awards website and social media channels, we will announce the new registration date.

We appreciate your understanding, and may God bless you.
